Celebrities regularly release branded fragrances for fans to buy but what perfume do the likes of Harry Styles and Zendaya actually wear?

Plenty of A-listers are paid to endorse fragrances through their social media channels, during interviews or starring in adverts for big name brands.

But what about their own personal choice when it comes to spraying perfume before a glitzy event or on a daily basis?

Well, Harpers Bazaar and Celebrity Fragrance Guide have revealed some of the biggest star’s favourite scents, including LGBT+ icons.

From Adele and a Spice Girl to icon Rihanna and Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer, we’ve put together a list of some staple celebrity scents and where exactly you can buy them.

Adele

Everyone’s favourite sad anthem queen, Adele has remained loyal to her favourite perfume since her teen years. Her signature scent is Dior’s Hypnotic Poison, which leaves a soft amber vanilla fragrance in its wake.

The singer recently postponed her Las Vegas residency with an emotional video telling fans that the show had been “absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID”. She promised that her team are “working our arses off” to make it the best show possible and that it is “absolutely 100 per cent happening this year”.

Jodie Comer

We’re pretty sure LGBT+ fans of Killing Eve will want to know what perfume is worn by its star Jodie Comer. The actor, who plays Villanelle in the hit series is a fan of Le Labo Santal 33, available from Net-A-Porter. She says: “I definitely copied an actress I worked with. We would ride the lift every day, and I would smell it on her, and it would be that amazing smell. But we’re all copying each other. I have no shame in admitting.”

Comer recently returned for the fourth and final series of the BBC drama alongside Sandra Oh. She’s previously spoken about her character resonating with LGBT+ people, saying the relationship between Eve and Villanelle has never really been “explored on television”.

Rihanna

A number of celebrities have revealed how amazing Rihanna smells, from Olly Alexander and Lil Nas X to André Leon Talley and Jim Parsons. But what exactly is the secret to her scent? Well according to Harpers Bazaar it’s Love, Don’t Be Shy by Kilian, a sweet and decadent blend of neroli and marshmallow.

Although it’s more than likely that the singer now reps her very own Fenty Beauty fragrance. The Fenty Eau De Parfum, was created and inspired by Rihanna herself. It features magnolia and musk alongside tangerine, blueberry and hints of Bulgarian rose absolute, geranium and patchouli.

Cynthia Erivo

Actor Cynthia Erivo aka Elphaba in the upcoming live-action adaption of Wicked wears a perfume from Jo Malone London. It’s the Myrrh & Tonka from the brand which she came across in an airport duty-free. Since then it’s been her signature scent, which has notes of vanilla, tonka bean and myrrh.

She will star in the much-anticipated film version of Wicked alongside Ariana Grande, who will play Glinda the Good Witch, with filming set to start in summer 2022. Erivo’s perfume is available from harveynichols.com, because who wouldn’t want to smell like the future Wicked Witch of the West?

Victoria Beckham

Want to smell like an actual Spice Girl? Well now you can, because Victoria Beckham’s favourite fragrance is Room Service by niche brand, Vilhelm Parfumerie. Beckham has described it as “super chic” on Instagram, which is very on-brand for Posh Spice.

Harry Styles

Harry Styles has starred in a number of campaigns for Gucci, and apparently it’s not just a paid endorsement, as the singer is a fan of one of their fragrances. According to Celebrity Fragrance Guide, Styles wears Gucci’s Mémoire d’une Odeur “all the time” after appearing in the advertisements for it. The perfume is gender neutral and kicks off with chamomille and bitter almond and it’s available to buy from Boots.

The singer recently revealed the title of his third solo studio album, Harry’s Home. It’s due for release on 20 May and will feature 13 tracks, which are yet to be revealed. He’ll also take the album on tour this summer across Europe, with stadium dates planned for Glasgow, London, Dublin and Manchester.

Zendaya

Fans of Euphoria are always looking to replicate the character’s outfits and makeup looks, including Zendaya’s character Rue, who often has a laid back, skater style. But we imagine fans of the actor will also want to find out what scent she wears on the red carpet and on a daily basis.

Well, the fashion icon is the face of Lancôme Idôle and it’s also her signature perfume. The heart of the fragrance is rose and jasmine, with a base of white musk, vanilla, patchouli and cedarwood. It’s available to buy from Boots.
