Another grand prize.

Extending its reign, RuPaul’s Drag Race has packed up Outstanding Competition Program at the 2021 Emmy Awards. The news means that RuPaul, who is credited as executive producer, now holds the record for the most Primetime Emmy awards in history.

Charles brought season 13 competitors Symone and Gottmik with him to the event as well as judge Michelle Visage. All three joined him on stage.

“Thank you so much to the academy and all the gorgeous people who are here tonight,” he said on stage. “Thanks to all of our lovely children on our show from around the world. They are so gracious to tell their stories of courage and how to navigate this difficult world called life.”

As is Charles’ habit, he also gave a heartwarming word, telling youth that there is a tribe out there for them.

“Come on to Mama Ru,” he said.
