Following the brutal attack on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s 82-year-old husband, Paul, on Friday morning, Caitlyn Jenner felt it imperative to weigh in.
Speaking on Fox News, where she’s a contributor, Jenner insinuated the Speaker and her husband didn’t have adequate security to repel such an attack. Paul Pelosi is now recovering after a 42-year-old man burst into his San Francisco home and attacked him with a hammer; he was allegedly looking for the Speaker, who was not home at the time.
Jenner quickly pivoted to casting blame on everyone from President Biden to San Francisco itself, which she called a “violent city” and referred to a crime wave in the U.S., though crime remains significantly lower throughout the nation’s cities than at its apex 30 years ago.
