“Woke-free” beer brand is selling a conservative women swimsuit calendar to stick it to trans people

Conservative Dad’s Ultra Right Beer, the right-wing “woke-free” beer brand created in response to Bud Light’s collaboration with a transgender influencer, will sell a “Real Women of America” 2024 calendar to “serve as a reminder [that] men can never replace the beautiful women of America.”
Gaines, Weathers, and other transphobic conservatives want to ban trans women from competing against cis female athletes because they believe biological traits give trans girls unfair physical advantages over their cisgender opponents and “erase” women’s hard-won victories in sports. Critics of athletic transphobia note that sexism and poor funding harm women’s sports and discourage female athleticism far more than trans competitors. Furthermore, most trans student-athletes aren’t seeking awards; they just want to play sports like other people.
Ultra Right beer initially cost anywhere from $29 to $35 for a six-pack (with shipping costs added). Its price has since been reduced by $10. The beer also has a 4% alcohol content, putting it on the weaker end of the beer spectrum. (Bud Light contains 5% alcohol.)
Weathers created the brand in April after Bud Light’s failed collaboration with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney. After Mulvaney posted a video to Instagram with some custom Bud Light cans with her face on them, the right lost its collective mind. Right-wingers announced boycotts of the company, posted videos to social media of them destroying Bud Light cans, or just sadly pouring them out. One even produced a rap video to express their new hatred of Bud Light.
