Late last night, when most of the world was asleep, Lil Nas X gave birth to a beautiful, bouncing debut album.

The rapper has been teasing his debut album Montero for some time – and he’s been keeping himself busy throughout the gestation period by releasing a string of instantly addictive singles.

Proving that he will always stick to the concept, Lil Nas X shared a TikTok of himself in a hospital bed on Thursday (16 September), writing: “Baby Montero is hours away!”

As if that wasn’t enough, he later doubled down on his pregnancy-themed album rollout with a cinematic masterpiece for the ages. Think She’s Having a Baby but with Lil Nas X instead of Elizabeth McGovern.

Lil Nas X’s ‘bussy water’ breaks in hilarious Montero sketch

In a spectacular video, Lil Nas can be seen being wheeled into a hospital by two doctors.

“He’s having this baby,” one of the doctors says.

“Oh, God, I think this guy’s bussy water just broke. Oh, that’s a whole lot of bussy water,” the second doctor says.

As the video continues, the doctors discuss how dilated Lil Nas X is. Eventually, he literally – and we mean literally – pushes out the Montero vinyl.

With that, the hotly-anticipated album landed on streaming platforms – along with a very sexy and very queer new music video – and fans were overjoyed.

Lil Nas X finally unveiled Montero after a lengthy, spectacular album campaign that culminated with an iconic fake pregnancy shoot.

In the lead-up to the album’s release, he smashed it time and time again with singles like “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and “Industry Baby”.

He has built a huge LGBT+ following with his unabashedly queer music – and he has never been afraid to put his sexuality at the centre of his music.

Fans have been waiting for some time for the rapper and singer to release his debut album. He first exploded into the music industry in 2019 with the song “Old Town Road”, which went on to top the charts in the United States.

The song broke streaming records – and it stayed atop the charts for a mammoth 19-week stretch.

At the height of his first foray into fame, Lil Nas X proudly came out publicly as gay – and that decision changed the trajectory of his career.

Since then, he has consistently put his queerness centre stage – and fans have loved him all the more for it.

Earlier this year, his stunning song “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” went on to top charts across the world – and he won praise for the beautifully queer music video, which saw him sliding down a pole to hell and giving Satan a lap dance.
