Photographer Rick Castro Returns After the Plague

Author: Christopher Harrity

After one year and four months or so, we enter a brave new world. As with many, 2020 was a hard year for me. I experienced near-destitution, despair, loss, fear, and life fraught with anxiety and the deaths of loved ones taken by the plague.

REFORMATION examines these emotions through my archives; 1988-2021. This collection of photos tells my story immersed within the depths of melancholy, hope and renewal. The choice of private venue reflects the time we’re still living in; unspecific restrictions for locations and crowds, and a gnawing concern of relapse.

Therefore only people that actually want to attend will bother to email with an RSVP and time they choose to attend.
For one day only.

I wish us all a happy & prosperous 2021 and beyond.
Rick Castro
