Hulu’s ‘Love, Victor’ Renewed for Season 2

Love, Victor has been renewed for season 2.
The TV spin-off of Love, Simon was a hit when it premiered on Hulu in June, becoming the streaming platform’s most-watched drama.
Love, Victor, along with another series starring a queer lead, High Fidelity, was originally intended to debut on Disney+ before been migrating to Hulu. High Fidelity will not receive a second season.
Love, Victor followed Victor (Michael Cimino), a new student at Creekwood High School, on his journey toward self-discovery as he adjusts to a new city and explores his sexuality against the backdrop of challenges he faces at home.
It was a continuation of the groundbreaking 2018 film Love, Simon, directed by Greg Berlanti and based on the novel Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli.
The series also stars Ana Ortiz (Whiskey Cavalier, Ugly Betty), James Martinez (One Day at a Time), Isabella Ferreira (Orange Is the New Black), Mateo Fernandez, Rachel Naomi Hilson (This Is Us), Bebe Wood (The New Normal), George Sear (Into the Badlands), Anthony Turpel (The Bold and the Beautiful) and Mason Gooding (Booksmart).
Love, Simon’s original writers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger served as executive producers alongside Brian Tanen, Jason Ensler, Isaac Klausner, Marty Bowen, Adam Fishbach, Wyck Godfrey, Pouya Shahbazian, and Adam Londy.
