Financial Guru, Bodhisattva Suze Orman

One of my favorite people to watch on television is Suze Orman.

To say she’s a financial “guru” would be an understatement.  My husband and I think of her more as a Bodhisattva.

There are a lot of people who “know” money, and can talk fluently about it.  In the case of Suze Orman, she looks first at the personal “cause” of the issue(s).

Her closing slogan is “People First, then Money, then Things”.

She’s wiser than even she knows.  There’s an innate sense of what the personal cost or issues are which are in play with one of her show’s callers.

I don’t know if many people pick up on the non-financial insights that she has, but she is healing more than just peoples money issues.

The fact that she’s a lesbian and is happily married to her wife Kathy Travis, is just a detail of her life – not the whole “gimmick”.

When I vote, I don’t vote for the “gay candidate” just because of their orientation.  I vote for the one who has a platform that is closest to what I want.

Suze is wise, financially brilliant and one of those special people who impact others in a positive way.

I truly feel she is a Bodhisattva, and that we’re better for having her walk among us.
